Demands for quality of life nowadays are constantly increasing. Structured cabling combines all the cabling for the exchange of data, signals , and control communications in one space in a single fixed cabling system.

For many years, the cabling that served data transmission needs was done separately from the cabling for voice. But the integration of high-tech systems everywhere made the need for a standardized way of wiring greater.
